Rodeo results rollover-heavy

The Ridin the River Cowboy Fellowship’s Riding on Faith Rodeo weekly rodeo last week had an unusual amount of rollover money, with rollovers occurring in three categories for the June 25 rodeo.

In bulls, open had a rollover of $347, novice had a rollover of $196 and Jr. mini had a rollover of $126.

In senior bulls, Kelson Schoonover won $147.

Gunner Garza took home $147 in senior mini bills.

Familiar winner Martin Galloway III won $47 in pee wee competition.

In breakaway roping, Kalan Bode took home $343.

In open barrels, KD Cortez came in first with a time of 18.81, taking home $189; Cecily Hicks placed second with a time of 19.128, taking home $126.

In junior barrels, Chloe Simms placed first with a time of 18.202, taking home $184; Rainey Ayers placed second with a time of 18.5, taking home $123.
