The Bandera County Republican Women said it was honored to have Wayne and Marcy Voss as guest speakers for its next meeting, on Thursday, Oct. 1. They will present a program on the Gold Star Mothers and families. The Vosses, of Boerne, became involved with the Gold Star Mothers in 2013 after losing their son, Air Force Capt. Mark “Tyler” Voss, when the KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft he was piloting went down over Kyrgyzstan.
