Editor’s Note: The following is an election announcement for a local candidate.

My name is René Leith and if you’ve ever voted at the Medina Annex, I’ve probably served you. It has been my honor and privilege to serve as you Pct Chair and I would love to continue to serve!

I have lived in Bandera for 27-years and came to Bandera County as a visitor for many years before. My husband and I own a ranch just outside Medina in a beautiful, natural canyon area, where we raise cattle, train Border Collies and breed & train Champion blood-line Labrador Retrievers. I have owned 3 successful businesses since moving to Bandera and currently own Bandera Ranch Realty (24-year Realtor). I raised two daughters who graduated from Bandera High School and have two fabulous grandchildren. In the years I have lived in Bandera County, I have served many organizations as a volunteer, served on the Cowboy Capital Rodeo Association Board, am currently a Bandera Lions Club Charter Member & Officer, championed Property Tax Payers rights, been an organizer and outspoken opponent of the Solar Farm, a proponent for government honesty, transparency and fairness in Bandera County, a strong believer in proper training and education for election workers, I have volunteered at the Republican Headquarters and many other local organizations for many years.

I have been an active member of the Republican Party of Bandera County for years, serve on the Bandera County Executive Committee and as your current Precinct Chair. I work as an early voting Election Clerk and Election Day Pct 306 Judge, which is appointed by Bandera County Commissioner’s Court. I served as a Delegate to the Texas Republican Convention in 2020 and I am again honored to serve as a Delegate this year.

I am a Christian, Constitutional Conservative, committed to fighting for the conservative way of life in Bandera County and the State of Texas. I think it is our responsibility to hold RINOs accountable, I think Election integrity is of utmost importance in keeping Texas RED and as your Precinct Chair, I take my job seriously and am your front line of defense to accomplish these very things!

I thank you for your confidence and humbly ask again for your support and vote as Precinct 306 Republican Chair in the upcoming May 24th Republican Primary Run-off election. Early Voting: May 16th – 20th.

*Endorsed by Bandera County Republican Executive Committee*
