For years, the Chuckwagon Cafe was a lighthouse for traffic slowing down while driving north through Medina. The iconic eatery was like an old friend saying hi as you drive by or go in.
That same friend is still there, but now with a new name and new owner.
Longtime owner Lew Pewterbaugh sold the eatery to Colt Reagan, after a series of events worked serendipitously.
Pewterbaugh said when two of his long time employees wanted to retire, he decided he too wanted to make a change by selling the business and location.
