The Lakeshore Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) conducted a multi-department vehicle extrication training event at their facilities on March 4 along with the Castle Lake and Bandera VFDs.The event was made possible by donations from Vincent’s Automotive and The Appliance Doctor, who provided vehicles to demolish, and Bandera Towing, who brought and hauled away vehicles from the premises.The training was open to the public and brought together multiple county fire departments for critical training which Lakeshore VFD Fire Chief Eric Fraser said does not happen often.Instruction for the firefighters was led by Fraser, Bandera Fire Chief Max Konz and Bandera County ...
