Scholarship award amounts range from $500 to $5,000 based on academic performance.

Wisdom graduated from Bandera High School.

Washburn, founded in 1865, is a public university serving more than 7,000 students in more than 200 academic programs. The Topeka, Kansas-based university also said it has been recognized as an innovator in career and technical education.
