Special to the Bulletin A $1,500 grant from H-E-B paid for a project that brought a group of volunteers together who made 12 “quiet busy” books and 12 sensory tubs at the Medina Community Library on Thursday, July 30, for members of the library’s Early Literacy Group to use with their youngsters, library officials said. “Quiet busy books” are small books with felt pages and patterns and materials that can be stuck to or snapped on the pages so youngsters can match colors, count things and feel different materials in putting things together in the book.
