An idea that became an event last June has produced good results, including getting folks out of their houses more, a weekly community dinner and a revenue stream.
The Lakehills America Legion Post 410 and its Auxiliary worked together, as they often do, to host a Tuesday dinner, and it has grown in the last year.
“We started with 15 dinners last June, and now we do between 40 and 60 dinners,” said Nancy Webb, President of Post 410 Auxiliary. “We sold 52 dinners this week,” she added while working in the post’s kitchen on Tuesday, April 27.
