Hondo National Bank has named Olen Thompson as its president and chief executive officer, a news release from the bank said. Thompson is a veteran banker who joined Hondo National in 1999 and served in various positions for the bank since 2009, including executive vice president and chief financial officer. Before joining HNB, Thompson worked for 19 years with Guaranty Bank in the Houston area.
