Bandera Bulletin Office Manager and Bookpaper Fran Fox announced her resignation from the Bandera Bulletin, effective January 19.

“Bandera’s people and life have been very good to me. I appreciate every day in this small town in some of the most beautiful landscapes in the whole state,” said Fox.

Ms. Fox came to the Bulletin in October of 2016 from its sister paper, the Alpine Avalanche, where she started in December of 2013.

She will be taking a position with Bandera attorney Stephen L. Schaefer.

“It is time to move on to new adventures and challenges. I’m very fortunate and excited Mr. Schaefer chose me to be on his staff.

General Manager and Managing Editor Daniel Tucker said that even though Fox has not yet officially left the Bulletin she is already missed.

“I’ve written in our paper before that Fran is the engine that kept the Bulletin running, and I meant every word,” said Tucker. “We will miss Fran very, very much. I literally could not have done this gig without her.”
