The Texas Farm Bureau will host a virtual professional development event this Saturday for Texas teachers to learn more about agriculture, the farm bureau said in a news release last month. “This is a great opportunity for our teachers of all grade levels and subject areas,” said Bandera County Farm Bureau President Barbara Mazurek. “This virtual event could help teachers find ways to incorporate agriculture into their classrooms, which would help students better understand how agriculture plays a role in our everyday lives.” The Teacher Ag Academy is set for Oct. 10 from 8 a.m. until noon.
