Editor’s Note: The following is an election announcement free of charge. A fee was charged to run the photo in color.

My name is Brandi Conover, and I am running for Bandera County Precinct 203 Chair.

I grew up in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, graduated high school and left home to go to school at UT Austin. After a brief time living in San Antonio, I graduated from UTSA with a Bachelors in Economics and earned certification as a Texas Teacher in General Education, Early Childhood - 8th grade. I met and married my husband while in Austin and we have two children; a daughter in College and a son who is a Junior in Bandera High School. I began my first year of teaching in San Antonio, then our family moved to Bandera County in 2005 and we currently reside in Lakehills. I taught for 9 years at Hill Country Elementary School, and have been teaching in other hill country schools in the area since then. I am currently substitute teaching at Bandera ISD elementary schools. It’s very possible I’ve taught one of your kiddos, or possibly even you!

Over the years, I have served as a volunteer as Vice President of Bandera Music Boosters for Bandera High School, as a Girl Scout Leader and was very involved for many years with our children in baseball, soccer, basketball, and football.

I am a member of the Bandera County GOP and Bandera County Republican Women, where I serve on the Executive Board, and am currently the Vice President of Campaign and Communications. I am a volunteer at the GOP Headquarters and work very hard to keep Bandera County involved and aware of our presence. I’ve stayed very busy in Bandera County attempting to help Keep Texas Red.

As a strong Conservative, I think we should be doing all we can to protect our Constitution, Bill of Rights and our way of life! It has become very apparent to me that Election integrity needs to be guarded and protected, now more than ever, and that’s one of the reasons I decided to run for Precinct 203 Chair. As Precinct Chair, our job is to be the guardian of election integrity, register new voters, keep the voters informed as to what’s going on in the Republican Party, campaign for our fellow Republicans and work in our local elections. I am prepared to put in the work to be your new Precinct 203 Chair.

I would be honored to serve and am asking for your VOTE on May 24th for Precinct 203 Chair. There is only one week of early voting this election, so go vote during Early Voting, which begins on May 16th and runs through the 20th.
