Karina Cabrera turned in her resignation as Administrative Assistant to the Bandera Economic Development Corporation (EDC) during a special meeting of the EDC on Thursday, September 16, and the search has begun for her replacement
Cabrera said a specific date for her departure has yet to be set, but the plan is to smoothly transition out of the position while they find somebody to replace her.
Essential duties and responsibilities include providing direct administrative support to the EDC, assisting in preparing agendas, preparing and organizing files according to projects, subjects and companies both electronically and physically, confidentiality on all matters, screening calls, emails and mail and other duties.
To qualify for the position, candidates must have an Associates Degree or equivalent experience in general office duties and knowledge of Quick Books, city government, contracting and Robert’s Rules of Order.
