The turnout of voters from the February 14 - February 25 early voting period for the 2022 March primary was fairly remarkable in terms of consistent and incremental numbers. Of 17,464 registered voters in Bandera County, approximately 17% cast their votes early.

The unofficial early voting data for Bandera County from the Texas Secretary of State renders an average of 213 in-person votes per day for the first week of early voting, followed by a significant increase in the second week of early voting to an average of 440 in-person votes per day; markedly, despite the Presidents Day holiday on February 21, when no votes were cast.

The total cumulative mail-in votes over the two-week early voting period was 161. The polling locations saw their highest voting activity on February 25, the final day of early voting, with 593 Republican and 57 Democratic votes cast.

March 1 is the primary election. Bandera County registered voters must vote in their respective precincts. Locations of election day polling places are as follows: Precinct #101 Bandera High School, Precinct #102 Pipe Creek VFD, Precinct # 203 Lakehills Library, Precinct # 204 Lakehills Civic Center, Precinct # 305 Ray Mauer Annex, Precinct # 306 Medina Annex, Precinct # 407 Bandera Bus Barn, Precinct # 408 Tarpley Community Center, Precinct # 409 Lakeshore VFD, Precinct # 410 Vanderpool VFD. Polling sites are open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
