Donation aids school

Posted in:

Changing the wording on the marquee in front of Pipe Creek Christian School has always been risky as someone had to stand on the top step of an eight-foot ladder to reach the top row of letters, school officials said.

Recognizing the school’s need, Johnny Boyle, owner of Boyle’s Bandera Hardware and Lakehills’ True Value Hardware stores, donated a new, 12-foot step ladder to the school to eliminate the safety issue.

Now, Pipe Creek Christian officials say the marquee can be changed easily without the fear of falling.

Pipe Creek Christian School’s students, staff and board of directors offered their thanks to Boyle for his generosity and the support he has shown the school.
