Local Republican and Democrat groups have their first meetings of the year lined up, with the Republicans set to meet Thursday and the Democrats on Saturday.The Bandera County GOP will have a general meeting, their first since last November, on Thursday, Jan. 12, at the Haner Community Hall, 264 Valentine Lane in Tarpley at 7 p.m.The official website for the party is banderacountygop. com.
