After jumping by 42 cases last week because a batch of old cases had not gotten properly reported, the COVID-19 case count in Bandera County continued to grow this week but not in the all-important category of “active” COVID-19 cases, reports by the Texas Department of State Health Services showed.
The number of active cases in the county fell through the week from six on Sept. 21, when 42 cases overall were added to the county’s total caseload, to one on Thursday, Sept. 24, and then zero on Monday, Sept. 28.
