Bandera City Council returned to in-person meetings on Thursday Oct. 15 with a testy gathering overflowing with people wanting to keep council from making ordinance changes that could kill live music in Bandera’s bars and in which a council member walked out before the same councilman was reprimanded by the remaining board for inappropriate conduct.
In addition, the council decided after voting on Oct. 1 to appoint former city employee Alan Calaway to fill the term of an open council seat not to swear Calaway in and instead to reconsider the appointment altogether.
