City Secretary resigns

The Bandera CIty Council accepted City Secretary Jill Shelton’s resignation during a January 11 special meeting of the council.

The council voted all in favor to accept Shelton’s resignation letter.

“I make a motion to accept the resignation, with a heavy heart, of City Secretary Jill Shelton, effective January 21, 2022,” said Councilwoman Darcy Hasty. “We’ll miss you Jill.”

Mayor Suzanne Schauman called for the vote: “All in favor, reluctantly?”

All council members voted for.

“Your resignation is accepted.” said Schauman.
