Chamber of Commerce office sets regular office hours

The Bandera County Chamber of Commerce announced recently that its office, located at 158 Hwy 16 S, will now be open to the public Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon.

“This ensures the community knows we are here for them,” said Executive Director Tammi Boultinghouse. “We’re an advocate for our members, and being open full-time means we are better able to represent ourselves and be readily available to our members and the community.”

Boultinghouse, who was promoted from Office Manager on August 23, said she has set specific goals to help further the chamber’s mission, reach and effectiveness.

“My goal is to instill confidence in our ability to support and promote local businesses and remind people of the value of a chamber membership,” she said.

Boultinghouse added she also had a goal of resuming monthly Lunch and Learn events where locals would speak on topics of benefit to the community, such as professional and life skills.

“What better way to do that than to draw on the knowledge and skills of people right here in Bandera County,” she said.
