Census training, quilters meet in Medina

Training for people hired to help the U.S. Census Bureau complete the national census will take place at the Medina Community Library Wednesday and Thursday, July 15, 16, and a variety of classes and activities will be sprinkled through the week at the library. The census training is one of the activities scheduled at the new, $2.5 million library expansion at 13948 Highway 16 North in Bandera. The training is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday. The Medina Quilters are scheduled to meet at the library on Tuesday, July 21,
