Posted in:

Training for people hired to help the U.S. Census Bureau complete the national census will take place at the Medina Community Library Wednesday and Thursday, July 15, 16, and a variety of classes and activities will be sprinkled through the week at the library.

The census training is one of the activities scheduled at the new, $2.5 million library expansion at 13948 Highway 16 North in Bandera. The training is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday.

The Medina Quilters are scheduled to meet at the library on Tuesday, July 21, from 2-4 p.m., and a 3-D printer class is available to library patrons by appointment on Thursdays. Those interested should call the library at 830-589-2825 for an appointment.

The library also is holding Little Ones Story Time every Wednesday from 10:30 – 11 a.m. via the Zoom

app. Parents are encouraged to call the library to register for that activity as well.

A Bey Blade Academy for newcomers and those more experienced in the games that can be played with Bey Blades is held every Friday at the library from 4-5 p.m.

In addition, a book sale benefitting the library is being held at the library through July.
