The Bandera Electric Cooperative recently made a $1,500 contribution to each of the four local food pantries throughout its service territory to assist with increased demand on food supplies during the coronavirus crisis.
Food pantry recipients are the Comfort Table and Food Pantry, Hill Country Family Services, the Silver Sage center in Bandera and Utopia Food Pantry, the cooperative said in a news release last month.
Collectively the food pantries serve the counties of Bandera, Kendall and Uvalde.
