The Central Appraisal District of Bandera County reports that notices of appraised values for residential properties in the county whose proposed value increased by $1,000 or more were mailed out since May 1, and affected property owners have 30 days from the date notices were mailed to them to file a protest.
The COVID-19 pandemic has restricted face-to-face interaction at the appraisal district, but property owners can file appeals by mail, email or by taking the appeal to the district’s outdoor drop box Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
