Governor Greg Abbott proclaimed October 18-22 will be designated as Chamber of Commerce Week, and the Bandera County Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating with an Open House on Friday, October 22, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at their office, located at 158 Hwy 16 S Suite F.

“Local chambers of commerce provide a critical link in the communities they serve by fostering a vibrant business environment, promoting local projects and paving the way for small businesses to thrive,” said Abbott in an official proclamation last month. “By serving their communities, chambers of commerce increase job and develop local infrastructure. Their work leads to stronger people, better communities and a prosperous state we are proud to call home.”

The full proclamation will be on display at the Bandera County Chamber of Commerce’s upcoming Open House.

“We will be handing out welcome/gift bags and offering beverages and snacks, as well as answering questions from guests and telling them about future plans,” said Tammi Boultinghouse, Executive Director for the Bandera County Chamber of Commerce.
