Brewery hosting first Beerfest

Bandera Brewery will present the inaugural Bandera Beerfest in a four-day event that will feature special games, craft beer, live music and food.

“We at Bandera Brewery are excited to see Bandera Beerfest come to fruition and hope to see this become a community event for the years to come,” said Elisabeth Cox, Bandera Brewery’s Event Coordinator.

The event begins Thursday, October 21 and will go through Sunday, October 24, taking place during the brewery’s specially modified operating hours.

The event is free, but tickets for special events like a brat eating contest, stein holding contest, cornhole and beer pong tournaments, karaoke contests and more can be purchased in advance on the brewery’s website, www.banderabrewery. com

Bandera Brewery is located at 340 Hwy 16 S in Bandera.

Regular hours are Thursday 4-8 p.m. Friday 4-10 p.m., Saturday 2-10 p.m. and Sunday 12-4 p.m.

Hours for Beerfest will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m., Friday 4-10 p.m., Saturday noon to 10 p.m. and Sunday noon to 4 p.m.
