Bandera High School Senior, Tyler Moore, took advantage of the early signing window to sign his letter of intent to attend the University of Arkansas Little Rock and participate in their Division I track program. During the winter indoor season, Moore will run the 400 meter and be a part of the 4 by 400 relay team. During the spring and summer “out door” season, Moore will participate in javelin and the 400-meter hurdles.

Mother Kimber Moore-Raab exclaimed “we are extremely excited to see Tyler run for Division I program.” The whole family turned out to see Moore sign his letter of intent as well as a majority of the BHS student athletes. By signing with a Division I school, Moore will attend a school with a larger student body which has a larger athletic budget. There are 600 Division I schools in the United States with over 6000 total student athletes.

The University of Arkansas Little Rock Trojans are members of the Sun Belt Conference. The Men’s Outdoor Track and Field made its last postseason appearance in 2018.

The UA Little Rock is a metropolitan research university of 9000 students which has 60 undergraduate programs and 40 graduate programs located in the heart of Little Rock, Arkansas.
