Dede Skoglund, President of the Bandera County Republican Women, on the ladder, decorates a space for the upcoming Bandera County Republican Headquarters with Membership Chairperson Melanie Burns. The new headquarters will have signs and election materials ahead of the primary election in March and will be located at 12th Street and Mulberry in Bandera. The headquarters will be open Friday, Saturday and Monday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting February 4. In other Republican Women news, the February 3 meeting has been moved to February 17. On that date, the Bandera County Republican Women will present a talk from Christin Bentley, President of Texas Freedom Coalition, Republican Activities and Special Education Advocate from Dallas Texas. Bentley will present a program titled “Miseducation in Public Schools”; topics will include critical race theory and sexualization of students. The event will begin at 6 p.m. after light refreshments at 5:30. A general meeting of the group will follow. BULLETIN PHOTO/Tracy Thayer
