Bandera High School students entering the 10th through 12th grades in the upcoming school year are invited to take part in tryouts for the Bandera High Bulldog mascot that roams the sidelines at sporting events and takes part in other activities for the school.
Since school is closed due to the coronavirus outbreak, tryouts will be conducted virtually through videos that applicants complete of their performances, Bandera Independent School District officials said in a Twitter post about the tryouts.
Each student competing for the position will be given a theme to orient his or her tryout around. The videos they produce should be no more than one-minute long and must be submitted for review by 11:59 p.m. on May 15 to qualify for the position, officials said.
Those interested in trying out were asked to email Kim Mooney at email@example.com for the required permission form and tryout instructions and to get any other questions about the opening answered.
