Head over to Bandera’s American Legion Post 157 for Wednesday night Bingo. The even will be held from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The post is located at 205 12 Street.

Thursday, April 8

The Bandera Farmer’s Market will be held from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. in front of Gringo’s Burritos, located at 702 Main Street in Bandera. The event is held every Thursday at the same time and location.

The Uvalde Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas will hold a regularly scheduled business meeting Thursday April 8, 2021 in the McNeely room at the First State Bank of Uvalde. Chapter meetings are open to the public.

Friday, April 9

A celebration of life will be held for Bette Jones, charter member of the Bandera Wranglers. The event commences at 6:30 p.m. at Kickback Korner, located at 402 Main Street in Bandera.

Red Horse Saloon, located at 2440 Highway 16 N, will hold a cornhole tournament. Sign up is from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 am. Entry price is $40 per team. Competition is best of three with double elimination rules.

The recently opened Boots and Saddle Dance Hall, attached to the Best Western on Main Street will feature music from La Dez on Friday from 830 p.m. to 12 a.m. There is a $10 cover to attend the event.

Saturday April 10

The Nest Cabin Rental Resort, located at 8161 Highway 16 S in Pipe Creek, will hold its first annual Spring Fling, featuring axe games, vendor booths, a bouncy house, food and prizes. Those interested in setting up a vendor tent may do so for free by contacting Cari at 909-635-5371.

Saturday, April 10

The Bandera Wranglers are hosting a highway cleanup for the two-mile stretch they’ve adopted on Highway 16 in front of Antler Oaks. Volunteer forms can be signed for community service hours. Those interested in attending are asked to meet at the Red Horse Saloon at 9 a.m.
