The Medina Community Library will be closed on Saturday, July 4, for Independence
Day, but is continuing to provide limited programming through the rest of the week.
The book sale the library started last week will run through July. The sale allows patrons to fill a paper bag with as many books, magazine, DVDs and other surplus or donated items for $10 per bag.
Proceeds of the sale benefit library operations.
The sale is held during regular library hours, but only two people at a time will be admitted to the room in the library where sale items are displayed.
The library is at 13948 Highway 16 North in Medina and is open Monday through Saturday at 10 a.m. It closes at 5 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 6 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays and 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
The library’s Bey Blade Academy for youngsters who enjoy playing or want to learn about the competition between devices that resemble spinning tops is held every Friday, including July 3, from 4-5 p.m.
On Tuesday, July 7, a Gentle Yoga class will be held at the library beginning at 9:30 a.m., and the While You Were Waiting group for bereaved parents will meet the same day beginning at 7 p.m.
