Kitchen volunteers prepare pancakes during St. Christopher Episcopal Church’s annual Feast Before Fast Event, held on Feb. 21 for the fifth year. Presented by the Men’s Fellowship at St. Christopher’s, the event also served fresh sausage, gumbo, red beans and rice, cajun duck eggs and other culinary delights before Lent began the next day. Donations for the Bandera event were requested to benefit local outreach.
