Addie Derry won Best of Show Honors in the High School Division of Medina ISD’s 2020 Science Fair, and Kailey McCabe won the Best of Show award in the district’s Junior High Division, school officials said. Derry’s entry, titled “Building a Remote Control Robot,” also won first place in the Physics category of the High School Division. McCabe’s entry, titled “Pizza Box Cooking” was also awarded first place in the Physics category of the Junior High Division High school entrants Skye Charnetski and Emily Zirkel received Superior ratings and were named alternates to the regional science fair.
