Library has busy month ahead

The Medina Community Library will be very busy in May.

A Food Handler Class will be offered on May 6 at 10:00 a.m. If you are interested, please call the library and sign up.

We are very excited to have author, Carl Williams, visit our library Thursday May 13th at 10:30. Mr. Williams is a retired sheriff from Brewster County, Texas. His book “More Than A Badge” will be at the library and will be available for purchase after his talk.

Another exciting event is our three-day Book Sale.It will be held May 25-27 in our addition, the Rodney Camp Pavilion.

We will offer hardcover books, paperbacks, magazines, children’s books, etc. These funds will be used for our summer reading program.

Speaking of the summer reading program, sign up begins May 24, with our first session scheduled for June 23.

The library is open Monday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
