The Third Annual Forging Futures Classic Golf Tournament originally set for Sunday and Monday, April 26-27, in Fredericksburg has been moved to Sept. 27-28 because of the coronavirus. Proceeds from the tournament are used for student scholarships and academic program support for the Hill Country University Center Foundation and Texas Tech University-Fredericksburg. The golf tournament is now set to take place at Boot Ranch just outside of Fredericksburg on Sept. 28. Boot Ranch is a 2,000- acre, master-planned golf community on a golf course designed by PGA Tour winner Hal Sutton. The Celebration Dinner will be held at Vista Oaks Event Center, 8296 E.
