Posted in:

Mercy Yermo of Bandera was one of 362 students at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls to be named to the Provost’s Honor Roll during the fall semester, the university has announced.

To qualify for the Provost’s Honor Roll, a student must complete at least 12 hours in a semester and earn a grade point average between 3.75 and 3.99 with no grade lower than a “C,” the university said.

Yermo is majoring in the humanities.

The university also recognized 402 students as members of the President’s Honor Roll, which is for students taking at least 12 hours who receive no grade lower than an “A” in a semester, and 392 students as members of the Dean’s Honor Roll, which is reserved for students with at least 12 hours in a semester whose grade point averages fall between 3.50 and 3.74.
