Thanks to generous donations from businesses and individuals from Bandera and the surrounding area, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Bandera County provided 35 families with Thanksgiving meals this week. In recognition of the community coming together to serve others, Hondo Bank branch manager Alana Smith (far left) and Bandera Ale Project’s John Oliver and Elizabeth Cox (second and third from right) posed for a photo last Friday with the club’s Hill Country Unit Director Garl Tharp (second from left) and board member Dennis Jerome (right). Other businesses who participated in donating include Fatboyz Sandwich Shop, the Hen’s Nest, Lowe’s Grocery and Sparrowhawk Armory.
