Read moreThe Medina Bobcats moved on to 4-0 following resounding 80-34 win over Bulverde Bracken last Friday, another game called by the six-man mercy rule. Head Coach Mark Coley remarked after the game, “The Bobcat defense stepped up again and allowed us to mercy rule our opponent. We are playing together as a team and are looking forward to our next game Thursday, September 22nd against Santa Anna. Leading the way on defense were seniors Wyatt Boatman and Dawson Simons with 5 solo tackles each. Senior Britton Wickham aided the defense with 2 tackles for Bulverde loss of yards. Offensively, Boatman was 14 for 16 passing for a total of 242 yards and 7 touchdowns. Junior Cason Johnson added to the scoreboard with a 75-yard kickoff return.
