Read moreThere’s lots going on here at the Bandera Library. April is Autism Acceptance Month, and the library has been busy developing our resources to be an Autism friendly library. Thanks to a grant from the Alkek Foundation last year, we have installed better signage, added tools and resources available for in-library use for our patrons who are neurodivergent, and we have added close to 40 new titles on autism for children, teens and adults. Our genealogy room is being updated so that it can function as a calming space as well.
