Bobcat baseball began district play in Menard on Friday, March 22, with a win.

Medina’s bats started slow in the first inning but came in strong in the following innings to seal the victory-by-ten run rule at the conclusion of the fifth inning.

The final score was Medina 22, Menard 2.

The week of Feb. 26 through March 2 was a busy one for Medina ISD.

The school hosted the Annual Junior High Bobcat Relays on Wednesday, followed by the High School Bobcat Relays on Thursday and then finished the week with their Annual Softball and Baseball Tournaments on Friday and Saturday.

While doing my early morning rituals recently I came across an article telling stories about wasps. Anyone who was raised here in this part of the Texas hill country will have numerous tales to tell on the subject.
