The Bandera Lady Bulldog Volleyball program has started their year off with major success! They have four district games and the A Team Tournament under their belt and they are still working hard and ready for more!

Opening up against Fredericksburg they showed that their work over the summer had certainly paid off, both 8th grade teams took home their first district wins! The continued their success with; hard fought matches at Boerne. While the teams ended up a little short; they were all a much bigger challenge than Boerne had expected.

The 7th and 8th A Teams then participated in the annual BMS Tournament and 8th grade took home the Runner-Up plaque! The road was a long one but they took down Pearsall and Boerne Champion to get to the Championship match. While they fell to Medina Valley, the girls played tough the entire match and never stopped working.

After a great weekend of games, all the teams kept the train rolling when they played their first home district game against Wimberley. While the Bulldogs came up short on wins, but they played well. 8th grade A Team took Wimberley to 3 very tight matches and fell just shy of the victory at the end.

Monday night in Navarro the girls again played some great volleyball. The 7th grade teams came up a little short but are still making great improvements on the year. The 8th grade girls had a very exciting evening. The B Team took Navarro to 3 and came away with the win.
