JV Lady Bulldogs beat Lytle in
The junior varsity Lady Bulldogs set out to receive that coveted "W," even if it wasn't a district game in their Tuesday, Sept. 11, volleyball game with the Lytle Lady Pirates on their home court.
With a new rotation and only a few days to adjust, the team was a little unsure of themselves at the beginning. With a series of accurate serves, the Lady Bulldogs were able to quickly pull ahead of their opponent.
The Lytle Lady Pirates were unable to send back many balls to Bandera's side of the court and the game ended quickly with a score of 25-11.
During the second set, the team went in with a growing sense of confidence. However, that slowly diminished as we were unable to send the ball back on a serve receive. The teamwork that was present during the first set was nowhere to be found during the second set. The Lady Pirates put up a tough fight, and the game was neck and neck until the end.
After a much needed time out, the Lady Bulldogs got rid of their frustrations and were able to defeat their opponent with a score of 25-22.
