It’s graduation season and we all want our future grads to get the best education they can. Medina ISD desperately needs a new high school science lab. The current lab (which doubles as a classroom) has not been upgraded in decades, does not meet various state codes especially for square footage per student and does not have a functioning gas system.
This weekend’s rainfall was a mixed blessing for many, temporarily relieving extreme drought conditions and filling the near-empty Medina Lake. Though the rain was prayed for, its overabundance last week and Saturday night caused property damage and major inconveniences, including mandatory evacuations and loss of electricity.
