A Washington state man was killed two weeks ago in a highway accident possibly caused by a blown tire.
According to Department of Public Safety reports, on Nov. 21, Robert Kenedy, 49, was traveling south on Hwy. 16 in Bandera. His rear tire appeared to have deflated while in transit, causing his motorcycle to wobble. Kenedy lost control of his vehicle, and was ejected from the bike.
He was airlifted to University Hospital in San Antonio. He later died from severe brain damage and other injuries. Reports indicate he was not wearing a helmet.
